Chinese medicines used as oilfield chemicals: A case of resource utilization of waste medicines

In order to explore the resource utilization of expired traditional Chinese medicine, in this study, three medicines, LQC, BLG and HXZ were used evaluate their inhibition effects on clay expansion rate corrosion acid solution by weight loss method linear test. The results reveal that highest at 1000mg/L is 67.65% 3.0% HCl solution. Linear experiments show LQC have stronger effect when 1.2% them are added drilling fluid, which better than 4.0% KCl generally as a reference bentonite inhibitor. can decrease tg obviously means it has potential use lubricants fluid.
